I always enjoy a good page turner and Sebrick did not disappoint. The book jumps right in with Kaltor facing the new challenge of a different type of fight. Selene show up a good bit of the book as the rivalary between assassins continues. I enjoyed that Kaltor had to stuggle with his morality more in this book. THis did come off as a bit of a transition book so the next book is a must to gain more closure.Spoilers my only regret was there was no real closure to the war. Kaltor neither talks\meets his brother and the darkness does not come into contact with Kaltor. It ends with a bit of a cliff hanger feel.
